Job Summary
We are building Microsoft Azure NetApp Files - an award winning first party cloud storage solutions that enables companies to deploy and run business critical workloads in the cloud.
As a Software Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for building software defined cloud storage solutions that run on Kubernetes. You will join a diverse mid-sized team of experienced developers combining API, database, Kubernetes and GUI experience.
This is a hybrid role based out of Cork but we would be happy to consider applicants from other regions in Ireland.
Job Requirements
Work on and develop features in close co-operation with our partner, Microsoft. Help the team by removing blockers and raise major issues proactively. Work on complex problems across our components in a cross functional team. Help the team grow by offering support to other team members.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in Go/C# or an equivalent language
- Experience in working with Git or other version control systems.
- Systematic problem-solving approach
- A sense of ownership and drive
- Container technology, preferably Kubernetes
- Azure experience is preferred.
Education
- BSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years’ experience in software development
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is [Hiring Range Min]–[Hiring Range Max] and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
