Location: Oakdale Nursing Home, Tullamore Road, Portarlington
- To promote through high standards of practice, a caring environment which is conducive to the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the residents.

- To ensure that everything we do reflects the privacy, dignity, independence, and respect of our residents and underpins all the basic values that contribute to an excellent quality of life.
- To ensure that all residents receive care appropriate to their individual needs.
- To care for each of our residents’ physical, spiritual and emotional well being through agreed standards of excellence.
- To advocate for our residents.
About The Role
- To provide for the care of each resident as per the care plans laid out by the residents Primary Nurse.
- To adhere to all company policies in the best interest of residents and staff.
- To attend all compulsory training. as organised by Evergreen Care.
- To assist the nursing staff in their role ensuring to agree to do only those tasks that the Carer is competent and confident in carrying out.
- To report all changes in the condition or mental state of all residents to the nurse on duty, and to carry out her instructions accordingly.
- To participate in the admission, transfer, and discharge process of residents, under the instruction and supervision of the nurse on duty, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- To be involved in the activities function of the nursing home, ensuring all residents enjoy activities of their choice without undue pressure to participate.
