We are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our Operations Division on a full time, permanent contract which will be based in our Head Office in Dublin 15. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring the effective implementation and continuous support of our automation solutions. This role blends technical prowess in software, electrical, and mechanical systems with interpersonal abilities to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide comprehensive service support to customers, including installation, repair, maintenance, testing, and buyoff, both on-site and remotely.
- Manage, take part and troubleshoot all on-site installations, repairs, issues, and maintenance tasks.
- Generate service reports to document work performed and maintain records.
- Collaborate closely with the technical team, sharing information and insights to resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Comply with all ISO requirements and adhere to safety practices, standard operating procedures, work instructions, policies, and guidelines provided by the Company.
- Collaborate closely and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams for timely issue resolution.
Qualification, Experience and Knowledge:
- Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering. (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in service support, either locally or internationally.
- Proficient in providing service support for automation/equipment on-site, with skills in mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting.
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended periods as required.
- Experience in panel build assembly, electrical wiring, and pneumatic plumbing for custom automated machines.
- Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC is an advantage.
