Role Overview
The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical role in shaping and executing the financial strategy for all three entities. Based on-site in Mullingar, the Group CFO will oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance, while providing strategic guidance to support the group's ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support the group's growth and acquisition objectives.
- Collaborate with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to align financial planning with overall business goals.
- Provide strategic insights to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Oversee the financial operations of all entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations in ROI and NI.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Optimise cash flow management and working capital to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for acquisitions.
- Evaluate and recommend acquisition opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements across ROI and NI.
- Implement and monitor robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team across the group's entities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.
Strategic Leadership

Key Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior financial leader, ideally in a multi-entity or group structure.
- Strong track record in financial management, reporting, and compliance across jurisdictions (ROI and NI experience preferred).
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, including due diligence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Experience in a similar industry or in organisations with comparable operational complexity.
