Cross Agricultural Engineering Ltd. are currently seeking a Sales staff member.
Cross is a leading Engineering company who specialize in the design and manufacturing of Farm, Biogas, commercial and food processing machinery. We currently sell in over 30 countries world wide and have a strong online presence.
Cross Agricultural Engineering are looking for someone to take on the role of international sales.
The employee will be doing the following roles:
- Sell machinery to dealers and farmers in UK and Ireland(Training will be provided)
- Take sales calls in the Cross office during the week
- Develop sales leads by means of online marketing (equipment and budget will be provided)
- Attend trade shows in Ireland, UK and Germany (all expenses paid)
- Follow up sales leads after trade shows (visit potential customers)
- Demo machinery for potential customers with the Cross Demo tractors
- Carry out some of your own marketing (online and newspaper)
Training will be provided.
This position is open to all and would be perfect for someone who wants to learn about the industry of machinery sales. This is also open to recent graduates.
: At Cross we agree payment at the interview stage. Generous salary which can develop into a commission based salary after an agreed duration of training.
Requirements:
- Must have a good knowledge of farm machinery
- Degree in Agriculture, Business or Engineering related is an advantage but not essential.
- Degree results not important
- Knowledge of Engineering or Agricultural machinery is an advantage
- Must have experience in machinery operation.
- Must be willing to travel around the UK (transport will be provided)
- Must be proficient on computer operation.
- Must have experience in the use of Microsoft Word & Excel
