The AppleCare Technologies Quality Engineering (ACTQE) team is dedicated to delivering exceptional automated and manual testing solutions that enable AppleCare to deliver world class support to customers. We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to join ACTQE and lead people on this mission. In this role, you will lead a team of Quality Engineers driving the quality of applications and systems within AppleCare.
Description As a member of the AppleCare Technologies Quality Engineering (ACQE) team, you will be instrumental in ensuring that AppleCare applications and systems meet quality standards throughout both pre-release and post-release testing phases. Your expertise in software testing, leading people, and fostering a culture of quality will be essential to success in this role. Strong critical thinking skills, and a commitment to open communication and collaboration within a global cross-functional team will further support success in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience in a software quality engineering role
- Experience leading people in the development of test strategies and execution of test plans
- Experience leading distributed teams across cultures, geography, and timezones
- Values empowering people to achieve their best
- Expertise in modern test methodologies, practices, and technology
- Proficiency in utilizing test automation tools and framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge in contact centre tools and cross functional workflows
- Strong commitment to enhancing the customer experience
- Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability as a continuous learner
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Swift, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
