Position Summary
This is a key position in the Global Operations Command Centre. The command centre is responsible for the development and delivery of best-in-class system optimization and standard work practices. The team also supports in defining the business requirements for analytics and insights in support of Global Supply Chain strategies and decision-making processes.
With ongoing collaboration between the Business, IT and Project teams, this position will provide guidance on the optimum system setup for automation and planning objective. The role also involves defining and documenting end to end Supply Chain processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives and acting as a subject matter expert in all areas of supply chain.
Principal Responsibilities
- Customer focused with a view to ensuring supply chain support of customer facing functions
- Support Global Operations Command Centre Analytics team in gathering business requirements for reporting and metrics
- Act as business representative for the IT function, determine and understand business requirements and translate this into technical requirements for IT, focus in areas of order commits, regulatory product versions and supply chain available to promise optimisation
- Act as a subject matter expert in end-to-end supply chain including inputs, processes and outputs, as well as tools and data to support exceptions management scenarios and support in root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and partner with other functions across the company to drive projects from idea to completion
- Ensure global consistency of new systems and processes
- Build knowledge repositories and drive innovation/creativity throughout supply chain
- Drive weekly/monthly/quarterly metric and business pulse reviews to support business in determining key issues, optimized quick win solutions and project status updates
- Analyse business fundamentals, operational performance, and relative benchmarking positions to recommend solutions to business problems
- Act as project point of contact for operations in cross functional and global projects
Education / Experience Requirements
- ERP / Planning Systems knowledge
- CRM/OTC experience
- Experience of 5+ years in a complex supply chain or order to cash position with regional or Global exposure
- Experience with managing significant change or business transformation
- Can lead, inspire and develop a regional team to innovate and deliver in a complex matrixed organisation.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to translate complex situations into simple solutions
- Applies systems-thinking approach to lead solution development
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across multiple organisation levels
- Has excellent influencing, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to drive change and continuous process improvement
- 5 years minimum of industry experience
- Understanding of medical device regulatory requirements
- Experience with data analytic tools such as Power Query, Tableau a bonus
- International experience working cross border, cross time zone, and cross functional

Travel Required - 20% Working Environment: 3 days a week based in the Athlone Office / 2 days Remote.
