Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This new position is driven by continued growth. This hybrid role will be based out of our Newbridge office, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
Provide occasional onsite support to customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with the deployment and management of cloud services.
Document and track support requests and resolutions using our ticketing system.
Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive IT solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and server operating systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure Administration, SharePoint Administration.
Experience with network troubleshooting and configuration of Routers, Firewalls, VPNs, DNS & Wifi
Experience with Microsoft Exchange servers and email troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
Full clean driving license.

Nice to Have:

Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
Microsoft certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell).
Knowledge of IIS Servers, Plesk servers, and FTP servers.
Knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Hostpools, Azure Virtual Desktops, and Azure security.
Knowledge of IP-based telephone systems.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. Hyper-V).
