Maintain and update financial records (General Ledger, Balance Sheets, etc.)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy
File and manage tax returns, and liaise with tax consultants if needed
Monitor budgeting and spending, alerting management of any red flags
Assist in audits (internal and external)
Ensure compliance with financial laws and company policies
Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP) to manage data
Provide financial insights to support decision-making
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA/CMA is a plus)
1–5+ years of accounting experience (based on level)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems
Eye for detail, analytical mind, and killer time-management skills
Solid understanding of taxes, compliance, and audits
Integrity, accountability, and a no-nonsense approach to numbers
